Raising the Next Generation:
Our Youth Bible Study Teacher Ministry (2026)

This year 2026 marks a beautiful new beginning for our church as we officially launched our Youth Bible Study Teacher - a weekly gathering held every Sunday right after our Church Worship Service.

As a church family of Loving GOD Loving People Church of Pulang Lupa, we believe that the youth are not just the church of tomorrow—they are the church of today. Investing in them means strengthening the future of our ministry, our families, and our community.

Why We Started This Ministry
Every Sunday, our young people hear the preached Word during the worship service. But we realized something important:

Sometimes, what is preached needs to be processed.

It needs space for:

• Questions
• Honest reflections
• Deeper explanation
• Real-life application

That is why our Youth Bible Study usually centers on the given sermon of the preacher. This allows the message to go deeper—from hearing… to understanding… to living it out.

As Scripture reminds us:

“Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers…” – 1 Timothy 4:12

Our desire is not just for them to listen—but to grow, to lead, and to become examples.

The Role of Our Youth Bible Study Teacher
Our Youth Bible Study Teachers are not just facilitators. They are:

• Spiritual guides
• Mentors
• Encouragers
• Listeners

They help unpack the sermon, simplify biblical truths, and create an open space where young people feel safe to speak, ask, and share.

While the usual topic aligns with the Sunday sermon, we also welcome other topics based on what the scheduled teacher discerns the youth need to learn. This flexibility allows the Holy Spirit to lead each session according to the current spiritual needs of our young people.

Why This Gathering Is Important

• It Deepens Understanding
  Hearing the Word is powerful. Discussing it makes it transformative.
• It Builds Confidence in the Youth
  When young people are allowed to ask questions and share insights, they grow in spiritual boldness.
• It Strengthens Fellowship
  After worship, instead of rushing home, they stay—to connect, to learn, and to build godly friendships.
• It Develops Future Leaders
  Today’s Bible study participants are tomorrow’s ministry workers, worship leaders, teachers, and pastors.
• It Creates Consistency in Spiritual Growth
  Spiritual maturity doesn’t happen accidentally. It happens intentionally—week after week.

Structure with Freedom

There is no strict time requirement, but we encourage 40 to 45 minutes per session. This allows enough time for:

• Review of the sermon
• Scripture reading
• Discussion and sharing
• Prayer time

The goal is not to rush. The goal is growth.

More Than a Program
This Youth Bible Study is not just another church activity.

• It is discipleship in action.
• It is planting seeds.
• It is nurturing faith.
• It is building foundations that will stand even when life becomes challenging.

As we continue this ministry throughout 2026 and beyond, we pray that God will raise passionate, grounded, and spiritually mature young people who truly live out what they believe.

To God be the glory for what He has started—and for what He will continue to grow in the hearts of our youth. 🙏✨
